Terms of Service for Contribution

All donations will be accepted and automatically acknowledged by Impact on Education. Impact on Education is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, and the entirety of your donations will be tax-deductible.

Donations will be sent to individual schools on a bi-monthly schedule with donor information and donation designation.

All donations are non-refundable. If a posting does not reach its designated goal, the funds received will be transferred to the schools for educational purposes at the discretion of the designated poster (teacher or program). In the event that the poster (teacher) is no longer at the school, the funds will be used at the discretion of the Principal for similar educational purposes.

All items listed on SchoolFunder will automatically be increased by 10% to cover administrative costs: 4% to cover SchoolFunder’s technology development and support, up to 3% transaction handling costs, and the balance and/or 3% (whichever is higher) to be directed to Impact on Education’s Opportunity Fund to assist low-income students in accessing academic and extracurricular activities.

Terms of Service for Posting Creator

All listings will be for educational purposes only, and any items purchased with these donations will be the property of the school to which the funds are distributed.

Privacy Policy for Contributor

Impact on Education respects the privacy of individuals who are donating to the SchoolFunder online fundraising program. We do not sell, trade, or rent this information to any third party. Your information will be added to our contacts database. We may use your personal information to contact you in the future. By using SchoolFunder and providing information to us, you consent to our collection, use, and storage of your information. Impact on Education will receive a donation report from Google Checkout that will contain the transaction record including the donor’s name, donation amount, and donation designation. This information will be shared with the school Principal for distribution of funds and donor recognition.
