This is the 3rd year of the BHS/Trondertun Jazz Exchange. In 2006 students from the Trondertun Folkehogskule, one of Norway’s most acclaimed performing arts schools, came here; in 2007 the students in our top jazz band went to Norway. The Norwegians are once again back and the exchange is thriving. This year we are taking them as our guests to a national music festival in Winter Park, CO. We have been able to raise most of the money to support their attendance at this festival but need about $1200 more to fully fund them. For many of these kids this is their first trip to the United State and their first connection with Americans. The program has created many “music ambassadors” for both countries. Please help us support these young musicians!
